Helen is Director and Head of the clinical negligence department having specialised in this type of work for nearly 20 years. She is passionate about the work she does because she has seen how compensation awards change people’s lives for the better.
She is a mother of two and a keen netball and tennis player and, if she were not a lawyer, she would be a singer.
Helen loves to travel as much as she can, although she works long hours, and speaks French and Italian. When she retires, she’d love to go back to college and study poetry.
Chambers 2017 says:
A source describes Helen Dolan as "formidable in her knowledge of the law and medicine," adding: "She's one of the best clinical negligence solicitors in Manchester."
What others say:
Helen Dolan is one of the most experienced and tenacious solicitors around when it comes to clinical negligence litigation. Nothing fazes her and she fights hard for every client.

When dealing with medical negligence, it is important you have somebody who fully understands what they are dealing with - that was definitely the case with PotterReesDolan.. My case was somewhat difficult to prove. My legal team kept me up to date with all the information regarding the defence team. If I ever had a problem understanding anything, they would be very clear and explain everything to me, that is very important. I would take this opportunity to thank Helen Dolan and her clinical negligence team and anybody else in this matter. Thank you.
