Helen Shaw

Helen has specialised in serious personal injury claims for over 25 years and is now Senior Litigation Manager. Having previously represented nurses, firefighters and engineers, she has particular experience of dealing with claims involving spinal and head injuries mainly as a result of motorcycle accidents and accidents at work.

Helen has previously carried out voluntary work for Victim Support and is now Secretary of SIA Merseyside and Headway South Cumbria.

Helen says:

The most special thing about my job is the privilege of being able to help make a real difference to clients lives post injury. I am regularly inspired by the sheer drive & determination of many of my clients to overcome their difficulties. An added bonus, is that many clients keep in touch, which means a great deal.

Helen likes to help out at local farms at lambing time as well as sheep dog trials – she even won Best New Handler in her local trial! She and her Border Collie, Trim, have both recently been approved by Pets As Therapy.

As she used to sing in local rock bands, Helen enjoys watching live music with her favourite song being ‘Since I’ve Been Loving You’ by Led Zeppelin.
