Is it lawful for carers and others working with someone with a “mental impairment” to help them to access and pay f… https://t.co/AmHLmi8uau
Amber studied law at the University of Leicester and went on to complete an LPC at Manchester Metropolitan University, qualifying as a solicitor in 2005. Amber says:
"I loved to watch legal dramas as a child, and as I grew older and found out more about the law, it felt like the career for me. I was particularly drawn to those areas of law where there is a lot of client contact and the opportunity to help people, such as personal injury law, employment law and family law. Ultimately I began working in personal injury law at the very start of my legal career and have not looked back since."
Amber joined Potter Rees Dolan in 2016 and was promoted to Senior Solicitor in 2017. As well as ensuring her clients receive the practical and financial help they need to maximise their recovery and move forwards with their lives, Amber places great importance on supporting her clients and their family so that they understand and are comfortable with the legal process. She says:
"I find all of my cases interesting and it is great to work in an area where I can speak to clients and have that personal contact. Whilst many of my clients have sustained brain injury, the outcome of brain injury is such that the impact on each client is never the same and every client's needs something different, tailored to them and it is great that I can help provide that by obtaining interim payments and then putting together a rehabilitation team."

The team at PotterReesDolan provided a really high standard of service and were always available to me. It goes without saying that the outcome was even better than I had dared to hope for and your legal strength and expertise were a real comfort through what was a frightening and traumatic experience. Many thanks again. I send you all my best wishes.

The service throughout my case was excellent. Everything was explained to me in terms which I could understand. Amber had both the professional and caring attitude towards my case which my wife and I found very refreshing. Amber gave me lots of help during the case, especially at the start when I was still suffering the effects of my injuries and the hospitalisation. She was very thoughtful throughout and very professional. I am now back on my feet again and I'm sure the smooth-running of my case helped. Thank you.
