Now that the case has reached a successful conclusion, I am writing on behalf of D to say how pleased he has been with the outcome and the care and attention that PRD have given him. Sophie Birch has done an amazing job. Everything she has done has been spot on and she has had a really impressive grasp of all the aspects of the case. She has been a pleasure to deal with and has always dealt promptly with the many emails with which we have bombarded her. Additionally, the case she and the barrister presented at the inquest into P's death made everyone involved aware that mistakes were made and that opportunities were lost in P's treatment in 2015. Their case also brought to light failings in the system at the hospital in question which hopefully have now been addressed.
It is sad that we have had to take this step, but it seems to be the only way to draw attention to failings in the NHS and ensure that these failings are corrected. In addition, D lost his financial security and his life's partner when P died. The successful outcome of the case has now restored that security for the rest of his life. So, thank you again for the superb service that D has received from your firm.
From the outset, Gary was a massive help. He was clear from the start that this would not be a quick process, but I cannot be more pleased with how it was handled. From the experts recommended to the case manager appointed, everything was perfect. I would most definitely recommend. Bev was also great at being there when Gary was not available to help.
I couldn't fault anything, Potter Rees Dolan made everything about the process easy and bearable!
Greg Poole was very kind and considerate during the process of applying for Court of Protection to be able to use my Mum's money to benefit her, due to her dementia and there being no power of attorney.
Potter Rees Dolan were recommended to me from The Brain Charity, and though my Mum sadly did not make it to the point of being able to benefit from this, Greg was nevertheless sympathetic and kind when I sadly had to withdraw this request, even offering to further help with probate matters. Would recommend to others in the future.
I was referred to Potter Rees Dolan and Peter Renshaw, after having contacted the Headway Helpline (the National Charity for Brain Injury) in April 2018, when I desperately needed legal advice over a Benefit Claim.
Since then Peter has unerringly steered us through not just one but two claims on behalf of my son and has achieved the best possible outcomes imaginable in both cases. His considered professional advice, guidance and support has been absolutely invaluable and everything has been undertaken on a pro bono basis. I repeat what I have previously said “Mr Renshaw is a remarkable man and my son and I owe him a huge debt of gratitude”.
Thank you Peter and thanks also to Amy and Suzanne for the brilliant work you do.
