Lesley Herbertson

As an integral part of the clinical negligence department, Lesley offers over 20 years of experience in dealing cases where individuals have suffered all sorts of physical and psychological harm caused by their treating doctors. Despite dealing with a massive range of injuries caused as a result of medical error, Lesley specialises in acting on behalf of babies and children who have suffered brain injury at the time of their birth.

Lesley likes to spend her free time with her young family and with friends, either out and about or at home.

Chambers 2019 says:
Lesley Herbertson offers expertise in complex spinal claims, including those involving cauda equina syndrome and delays in diagnosis. She has further experience handling birth injury matters, as well as delays in treatment leading to fatalities. One source notes: "She is very good on the complex details of the case and is able to translate this to clients."

Legal 500 says:

Lesley Herbertson specialises in all aspects of clinical negligence for both adults and children with a particular focus on cases of maximum severity such as cerebral palsy and other complex birth injuries, brain and spinal injuries.
